Blood Borne Exposure and Awareness:
TPR Personnel will never knowingly assign you to a position where it anticipated you will be exposed to blood borne or infectious materials. However, should you become exposed through an accident or other circumstances, you should avoid all direct contact with any
bodily fluids. Should you incur an exposure, report it to your on-site supervisor and your TPR Personnel office immediately.
Job Assignment:
- When you are offered an assignment with a specific customer, you will be given a job description. If you arrive at the assignment and the job description has changed, contact TPR Personnel immediately.
- No employee is expected to undertake a job until you have received instructions on how to do it properly, and you have been authorized to do the job.
- No one should undertake a job that appears to be unsafe, or use chemicals without understanding their toxic properties. All hazardous materials you may be exposed to on your assignment should be reviewed with you by your supervisor prior to beginning to work. A
Material Safety Data Sheet shall be available to you at your work-site to inform you of any hazardous materials you may be working with. You should not begin a job assignment without the proper safety equipment made available to you.
- Mechanical safeguards must be in place at all times.
- We expect you to report to us any unsafe conditions encountered during your assignment.
- Machinery shut down for repairs or maintenance must be locked out or tagged out in accordance with OSHA requirements. Check with your job-site supervisor for instructions.
If you are unsure about any hazardous materials on your job-site, please call your TPR Personnel office. The company to which you are assigned to work will provide a list of any hazardous chemical or material; as well as, a Material Safety Data Sheet.
